Microprocessor controlled inflation system
The control system for the inflatable building 'Sleep and Dreams' Pavilion, Le Bioscope, in France, was designed to customer requirements. The system monitors and maintains building pressure to exacting requirements. The system is fully adaptable, and can be adjusted to suit the site requirements.
Battery back up to the control system enables full alarm status feedback even under power failure conditions.
Systems are microprocessor controlled, allowing easy updating or new configurations to take place easily and effortlessly by simple memory module replacements.
IFIA International Achievement Award Winners 2006
The control system is mounted in a steel cabinet, which also houses the fans. All necessary pipework and cabling is out of sight, being fed within the custom designed concrete slab.
Tectoniks Ltd, the manufacturer of the inflatable structure, won the top award for Air Structures in last years years International Achievement Awards organised by the Industrial Fabrics Association International.

Flexibility
Fixed or portable units are catered for - as in the case of the 'Spirit of Dubai' Building in front of Al Fattan Marine Towers, Dubai (see left).
Configuration of fans is flexible, with any number being configured to run on standby - these will only operate if there is failure of the main fans, or, pressure can not be maintained for example in the highly unlikely event of a seam failure.
